Joanna Macy wrote a book called world as lover and world as self.  This book has a lot of good ideas and exploratory thoughts that also include ways to help community be non violent and giving to their local community in a way that can prosper them to get their needs fullfilled.  This process in her book is something that is similiar to the community share card program/Usolec Lotto.
